Guide Service Info. Utah's Trout Waters Strawberry Resevoir Photo Gallery Book A Trip

amazing trout fishery sits at 7600 feet above sea level and is widely considered Utah's finest fishery. We are one of the few outfitters approved to guide on Strawberry, and we feel proud to have it in our backyard. The reservoir covers over 17,000 acres, and its diverse terrain and three species of gamefish provide numerous ways to approach your angling adventure. Troll the deep shelves and narrows for inland Kokanee Salmon, or strip various fly patterns through the submerged willows and meadows area for monster sterilized Rainbow Trout. Native Bearlake Cutthroats (Oncorhynchus clarki utah) can also be very large and can be caught from float-tube or boat. Strawberry has a rich history, and many locals hold its magical waters dear to their hearts. Wilderness Trout Expeditions is actively involved with the Strawberry Anglers Association in helping to protect and preserve the Strawberry Valley and all of its treasures. Concern from SAA president and legendary Strawberry angler Jim Carter has sparked a wave of interest in better ways to sustain and improve the reservoir.
